An Alternative Retail Model

This is about moving away from the ever-present homogeneity of current UK High Street shopping where the same products are sold in the same shops to the same people. It seems as if the lack of diversification is having a negative impact on the nation and on its people. I want to raise the positive profile of “the difference” and allow more people to express themselves through their individuality rather than their conformity. In doing so, I also want to promote the small-scale manufacturers and help these organisations maintain and develop commercial stability.
